Entry Requirements

The minimum entry requirement for admission into the Department of Biotechnology is Five Credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology . For direct entry, Two ‘A’ level passes chosen from Chemistry and any one of Physics, Mathematics or Biology.

Four years through UTME and 2 years through direct entry

Programme Description

This program will enable you to learn about the science behind biotechnology while also looking at how to succeed in a career in the industry as well as exploring the market potential of products and processes. The program is also designed to produce graduates who have a solid understanding of science, technology, and business management, along with the entrepreneurial skills required to exploit technological advances within a competitive environment.
