Entry Requirements

The minimum entry requirement for admission into the Department of Computer Science is Five Credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) including English, Mathematics, Physics plus two other science subjects. For direct entry, Two ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics in Science subjects including Mathematics.

Four years through UTME and 2 years through direct entry

Programme Description

This program covers a wide variety of software and hardware technologies and their applications. The program also offers a rich mix of pure and modern Computer Science courses such as computer architecture, operating systems, programming languages, theory of computing, computer networking, database systems, information management, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, and numerical analysis. You will also gain practical problem-solving and program design skills; the majority of subjects within the course are linked with practical work in our well-equipped laboratory.
