Entry Requirements

The minimum entry requirement for admission into the Department of Industrial Mathematics is Five Credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) including English, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry. For direct entry, Two ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and any other Science subject.

Duration

Four years through UTME and 2 years through direct entry

Programme Description

This program puts an emphasis on mathematical modeling, computational techniques, and statistical reasoning. The program will help you develop skills in abstraction, analysis of structure, and logical thinking. You will also develop expertise in formulating and solving problems. This concentration provides the knowledge of modeling and numerical techniques fundamental to creating Job-ready Individuals.
